Cassia is a place to:
Meet new people and make friends.Get information or advice about services.Learn a new skill and have fun.Find out what's happening in your area.Get together with other people to do something about common problems.Volunteer your skills, time and energy.Advocate on your behalf.Anyone is eligible to become a member or attend any of the Cassia's programs if you live, work or study in the Holroyd Local Government Area.
How is the centre run?
Cassia Community Centre is run by a volunteer management committee made up of local residents and services. Cassia recieves grants from the NSW Government which allows two major projects to run:
1. Cassia Community Centre
2. Community Development Project
It is the responsibility of the centre manager and the management committee to ensure the Centre is meeting it's aims and the needs of the community.
